About
Lucy J Ferguson
Consultant, researcher and trainer. Working in and with the UN system since 2008.
I am a consultant, researcher and trainer. My subject is gender equality in large institutions: why organisations that commit to equality so often fail to deliver it, and what it takes for the people who run them to act differently. That question applies to any change an organisation finds hard.
I hold a PhD from the University of Manchester and am a Research Associate at the Gender Centre of the Graduate Institute, Geneva. I have held academic posts at Birmingham, Sheffield and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and I live in Valencia.
