Fresh eyes and positive energy on complex problems
We have tried to change before.
We didn’t get the results we had hoped for.
A new strategy, a restructure, a policy or a training programme often leaves day-to-day practice much as it was. I have worked in and with the UN system since 2008, with gender equality as my lens, and have seen at close quarters how change happens and why it so often falls short. I bring that knowledge, fresh eyes and energy to organisations of any size.
What’s the problem?
Most organisational problems are problems of power: who decides, who is heard and who is left out. Find the one closest to yours.
Why work with me
Participatory pedagogies are the foundation of everything I do: people work on their real situation, and the power in the room is named.
I know how complicated systems work
I have assessed all UN entities against the same standard over three reporting cycles, and followed the same organisation over time, from 2017 to 2026.
I work on power and gender
Since 2008 on the change institutions resist most: equality between women and men.
I train trainers
I helped write the indicator that sets how the UN system measures its training, and I train the people who deliver it.
I am at home in senior rooms
Steering committees, leadership teams and conference stages, in three languages.
